Shri V.K.Singla has 37 years of experience in broadcasting in various roles in engineering departments of All India Radio and Doordarshan. He has executed various radio and TV projects including digitization of radio and TV, installation of radio and TV studios, radio (AM, FM, SW) and TV Transmitters. He was also handling the IT division of AIR. He has led the Technical team for radio coverage of London Olympics 2012. He was also a faculty member of Staff Training Institute (Technical), AIR and DD at New Delhi.

          He has attended various national and international conferences at USA, Australia etc. and UNDP training programme on Satellite Broadcasting at Washington DC, USA. Recently he got IETE- PROF S N MITRA MEMORIAL AWARD-(2012) for his contribution in the field of broadcasting. He has received many awards for best maintained stations and installed projects.

      He also worked as Chief Executive and Regional Officer of Central Board of Film Certification, Mumbai for 4 years.He did his M.E. (Electrical Communication Engg.) from Indian Institute of Science, Banglore. He was awarded Gold Medal during his Bachelor of Engineering.He is Fellow member and Council Member of IETE and BES(I)
